Our website should reflect the character of our community. We are hard-working people, with traditional values, living in a historic mid-Michigan location, among forests and farmland, and convenient to centers of shopping, tourism, recreation, and industry.

Local students step back in time to the 1800's

It's a step back in time for local Bridgeport students, even if it's only a mile and a half down the road.  For over fifteen years students at Atkin's Elementary School in Bridgeport have taken the trek down from the school's location on Southfield Drive to Bridgeport's Historical Village at 6190 Dixie Highway for what is called Pioneer Day.

This is where people can write to the government of Bridgeport, Michigan for all the world to see! This page could be embedded in the main structure of the web site, but I separated it to demonstrate a different style. 

Rather than call it a "blog," we might want to name it "Community Forum." Techy computer terms don't fit with the overall old-fashioned mood of the site.
